My homebrew campaign begins around Beregost along the Sword Coast of Faerûn. This is a low magic campaign as the weave—broken upon Lady Mystra’s death during ‘the edition that shall not be named’—is just beginning to appear again in the Realms. The following optional/variant rules are in effect:
